Care of Earrings

Our earrings are predominately made from polymer clay. Even though polymer clay is strong and durable, improper use and storage can lead to your earrings becoming broken. Especially if the design in delicate. We use surgical steel, gold-plated surgical steel or nickel free earring backing, clasps, jump rings and connectors.

The best way to look after your earrings is to keep then in a safe and dry space e.g on your preferred jewellery keeper to avoid them being broken or lost. To keep your earrings in new condition, clean with a damp cloth in between use. We suggest using a ‘Polishing Cloth’ to keep your pendants well-polished. You can purchase one of these through our website.

Sometimes our earrings will feature extra elements like foil and glitter. Please avoid wiping polymer clay that has the added foil or glitter with rubbing alcohol as this may wear down the varnish that has sealed your sparkly goodies. Keep your earrings away from perfumes and harsh chemicals.
